Ethos BeathChapman have partnered with a leading diversified ASX listed financial services group, to assist them with the recruitment of a high-profile Senior Manager position in their Client Management team. The role will lead a high performing team in the delivery of best-in-market service to key clients within the Wholesale Trustee business.  Key deliverables as a Senior Manager include:

Deliver high value, exceptional and compliant service to allocated clients
Lead the performance and on-time delivery of business and trust priorities
Assist with onboarding and integration of new business
Manage the offboarding of schemes that are winding up
Ensure delivery of service and operational excellence in activities in accordance with policies, including
  • Manage client relationships, developing and maintaining client relationship plans, conducting regular client visits
  • All regulatory lodgements (such as annual financial statements, tax returns and annual distributions) are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain and manage the compliance system for assigned schemes
  • Manage and oversee the billing for assigned clients
  • Present at Board and Compliance Committee meetings as and when required
  • Participate in disclosure document and fund promotion material due diligence as and when required
Ensure compliance is managed appropriately, including control self-assessment testing, assisting with service provider monitoring, and involvement in annual compliance plan audits and any other risk or regulatory related audit or review, as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulatory developments and changes which affect the operation of trusts and ensure any changes are incorporated into existing trust documents and business unit processes
Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key attributes and experience:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Financial Services
  • Experience leading and managing people (ideally 2+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of the managed funds industry, with sound knowledge of Managed Investment Trusts (MITs) 
  • Exposure to either Funds Management, Custody or Trust Management will be highly regarded
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Proven client management skills and experience
  • Strong process management skills
  • Ability to influence and present at a senior level (both internally and externally)
