Ethos are currently recruiting for a Senior Corporate Development Manager to join a leading investment business looking to expand in the ANZ region. The role would suit a Manager or Senior Manager looking to make there first move from consulting in transaction services or valuations. Alternatively someone with strong buy side experience from investment banking, VC or PE. Initially a 12 month contract to establish the market opportunity the role will turn permanent and have the remit to grow a team once the market is established.

With significant funds at their disposal and a target market of growing tech based businesses this is an excellent opportunity to lead the regional investment strategy in an exciting space.

Responsibilities
  • End to end management from origination to closure of a variety of buy side mandates
  • Performing and leading due diligence services focused on the tech space
  • Research, analyse and interpretation of data, providing financial strategic analysis using bespoke financial modelling techniques;
  •  Develop a standardised approach to commercial analysis across the organisation
  • Present opportunities to senior leadership including post merger integration plan

Requirements
  • Merger & Acquisitions (Buy side, deal origination, integration plan) experience operating at Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level with at least 5 years experience gained from a Big 4, quality boutique or PE/VC;
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Law, with CA/CFA qualifications;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in-depth experience in presenting to various internal and external stakeholders.
