Overview
Our client is a leading global provider of tools required to create websites, use email and secure business online, with operations in over 50 countries. After aquiring Australia and New Zealand’s leading wholesale domain and hosting company they're looking for a Project Manager to assist in the transition of separating from old legacy systems.

Purpose

The jobholder will support the business aspects of the transition: confirming, documenting and developing business requirements, to be delivered through the technology platforms and business processes being built. This will include a full description of how customer needs will be met in BAU, and in exception handling and issue management processes.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis.
  • Analyse business processes/systems, identify inefficiencies & potential options to address.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to confirm business concerns and develop workable solutions.
  • Formulate and define solutions (processes, policies, systems) to deliver desired results.
  • Prepare and document business requirements in sufficient detail to enable effective system and process solutions to deliver these requirements.
  • Document exception handling and issue management processes, to ensure high levels of effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Review operational and system processes for maximum operational efficiency and highest quality of delivery.
Technical & Soft Skills
  • Experience in business requirement writing and process mapping in support of IT change programs.
  • Experience of business process improvement methodologies, including lean six sigma.
  • Able to work collaboratively with IT and business colleagues, to establish requirements and confirm deliverables from business perspective.
  • Able to present concepts, ideas and processes to high quality and appropriate detail as required to technical, non-technical and senior business audiences.
  • Able to develop effective relationships and communications with a range of stakeholders, including Program Change Manager, customers and IT project delivery teams, and other third-party providers
  • Experience in build and use of project management methodologies
  • E2E technology project / program delivery experience (across all phases of the SDLC)
