The Project Coordinator will manage a data collation program of work for the Screening and Prevention Division, bringing data from a range of different sources into an enterprise data warehouse. They will monitor timeframes, budget, quality standards, and scope, while developing and maintaining relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage interdependent streams of project work to enable the strategic goal of consolidated data collection, storage, analysis and reporting to support the Tobacco Control portfolio.
  • Lead and manage the planning and delivery of multi-party projects including risk-level, impact, and budget, whilst leveraging and applying best practice project management principles.
  • Provide end-to-end project coordination including scoping of business requirements, monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance to mitigate critical projects risks and ensure achievement of project milestones and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project management plans, budget/financials, schedule, risk and issues registers, change requests, organisational change and communication plans, procurement, and operational readiness documentation during the project life cycle. 
  • Implement and drive productive and collaborative stakeholder project meetings to facilitate business owners to identify project risks, gaps and solutions to address them.
Specific requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and the application of project management and techniques, with a proven track record for delivering to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, consultation and stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Knowledge of information management principles, including information standards, data quality, data collection and auditing of data.
  • Knowledge of the NSW Health system.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, such as health information management, information technology or a related discipline, and/or industry-based qualifications, relevant professional experience.
