The Role:

Our client is a renowned MNC and seeking a Paralegal to join their team.  In this role, you'll be a vital link within the legal team, working collaboratively with fellow paralegals, and providing crucial assistance to the Legal Counsels in various administrative and corporate secretarial tasks. Your responsibilities extend to managing corporate activities, encompassing tasks such as handling directors' resolutions, shareholder resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate documentation. You'll also be exposed to different types of transactions such as the establishment of new legal entities and the execution of M&A processes, including joint ventures, project or company acquisitions, consortiums, and other partnerships. You will also working closely with internal stakeholders, authorities, and external parties on relevant matters.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of legal support experience gained in private practice or in-house
  • Bachelor's degree in Law / Pre-law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field; a paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Corporate secretarial experience, managing external vendors, resolutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in another foreign language will be an advantage for internal & external communications and engagement
