The Role:
My Client is a leading Investment Management firm and we are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to join the team in Singapore. We are looking for Operational Risk candidates who are keen to grow their career in an international and long-standing institution and you will be given the exposure across the Operational Risk function with proven leaders in the industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Compliance and Operational Risk policies and provide oversight of all Regulatory and Operational Risk policies
  • Subject matter expert of any Operational Risk and Controls works in the Business
  • Ensure regulatory and operational risk requirements are appropriately addressed, inclusive of conduct risk as applicable
  • Mitigate any gaps within the business and to ensure the business is in line with Compliance and Operational Risk guidelines
  • Spearhead annual risk and compliance assessments and reporting to the board of directors
  • Create a robust Risk and Compliance culture in the business
 
You must:
  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in an Operational Risk role – Ideally from Fund Management / Private Equity Real Estate space
  • Strong communication skills to deal with senior stakeholders
  • Be able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
