Our client (a listed MNC Pharmaceutical) is looking for a National Sales Manager for their expanding Beijing Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervises and trains sales force to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide support to Sales & Marketing Head managing business activities related to the pull through of the product strategy and evaluating sales force effectiveness. This includes the development and local approval of marketing collateral, targeting, field reporting, CRM system management, creating data feedback loops and general sales administration.
  • Work closely with both the sales organization and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and that the sales force receive all necessary support and resources.
  • Pursue key prospects, negotiate and construct appropriate terms of sales.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales teams within the region and re-allocate resources to improve overall results.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies in China.
  • Coach orphan drug specialists on the technical aspects of RRD‘s products; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will helo them achieve their sales targets.
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications.
  • Prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts, to ensure a constant flow of information between market and RRD China.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activities and developments and ensure this information is collected and made available to leadership.

Requirements:

  • BA degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant level of experience in sales.
  • Experience working as Sales force effectiveness, strategy and metrics.
  • Experience of Rare/Orphan diseases and/or cancer diseases preferred.
  • Experience in MNC pharma companies preferred
  • Understanding of basic Marketing scheme.
  • Full knowledge of current working pharmaceutical industry of Chinese legal, regulatory, promotion code and compliance.
  • Worked in role of collaborating multiple functions e.g. Field sales, Medical Affairs and other functional units.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
  • Embraces and demonstrates RRD core values and behaviours as a biotech start-ups.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese, as well as ability to present and lead team in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Strong PC skill required (Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint, word).
  • Logical & strategic thinking, leadership to drive the product/indication, building positive working relationships, decision making, global mind set.
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop strong external relationships to create strong brand advocates.
  • Energetic, Self-starter, desire for self-develooment mentality.
  • Solid record of sales performance in the past.
  • Demonstrated alignment with RRD Mission Focus Behaviours.
  • Passion for rare disease and patient focused.
  • Domestic travel as needed in support of execution, meetings and other events.
