Our client is a leading insurance group and employer of choice. They are current growing both organically and through acquisition and as such have a newly created position for a management accountant within their growing FP&A team.
Reporting into the FP&A Manager you will focus on:
Provide analysis and commentary of current and past financial information
Attend to the review and analysis of operating expense variances and investigate in consultation with key business stakeholders.
Investigate current financial performance and identify trends.
Prepare competitor and industry analysis.
Assist the business with preparation and submission of annual Plans and Forecasts.
Provide critical analysis, review and commentary, prepare presentations/summaries of the key activities and profit drivers.
Participate in the monthly reporting process including the preparation of monthly management, review and analysis of financial results with insightful commentary.

Required skills and experience:
CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
Experience either as a management accountant/financial analyst within a general insurance group or with Big 4 audit firm with insurance clients
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
