Our Client is an established O&G firm looking to strengthen their LNG trading legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial team on Long term LNG, spot LNG transactions.
The Requirements
You will have:
- 10 years of relevant work and industry (O&G) experience
- Common Law (E&W, SG) Legal Qualifications. Proven work experience and deep understandings of LNG SPA physical and derivative transactions and the trading customs
- Experience negotiating and drafting skills, handling various trading contracts
- Draft and review LNG Contracts with strong attention to detail, in order to discover potential legal/commercial risks, balance/optimise such risks, enhance PnL
- Negotiate T&Cs of LNG Contracts with counter parties across the region and managing LNG Contracts (MSA, Spot etc)
- Ensure effective cooperation with commercial and operations members, middle/back office team, legal members and other related stakeholders
