Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial and valuation analyse using various methodologies
  • Build detailed financial models, DCF/ LBO modeling to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing
  • Regional coverage: Southeast Asia  
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance  
  • Participate in live M&A process: coordinating due diligence with legal, accounting and tax consultants, advising on optimal transaction structures, advising clients on negotiation strategy, drafting of correspondences on behalf of clients, and reviewing transaction documents
  • Identify and evaluate potential targets/ sellers/ investors/ buyers
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets 
  • Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources 
  • Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Relevant experience in Investment banking / Corporate Finance advisory/ M&A / Big 4 / valuations (Title given accordingly based on experience)
  • For Analyst level: 2-3 years of experience. Strictly experienced hires only.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
  • Team player, family culture
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
  • Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Strong problem solving skills
