We are recruiting the skills of qualified Internal Auditors with 4-6 years' experience to fill the role of Internal Audit Manager within the Financial Services space. This position can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney on a hybrid working schedule, thus applicants from both states are welcome to apply.

The position will report to the GM Internal Audit and will manage Auditors throughout the end-to-end audit process across various pillars of this listed business. The ideal incumbent for this role will enjoy getting hands-on involved as they will assist in transforming, automating and streamlining the audit process.

This will require extensive stakeholder engagement, strict time management, problem solving skills, the ability to extract and obtain data from various legacy systems, as well as a keen eye for spotting key risks within the business and it's operations. Prior experience working in a complex environment will be highly advantageous. We will consider candidates with a non-FS background or first leavers from Chartered.

  • Preparation, planning of audits with some executing and testing of designated Audits alongside your team
  • Report on and review of audit findings
  • Write up of recommendations
  • Presentation of audit findings to various stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance of internal controls and compliance standards
  • Audit focus on corporate functions (Risk & Compliance / Legal/Acc & Finance / Treasury / Payroll etc.) and  financial operations
  • Staff management and coaching
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified or part qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA or CISA OR
  • Degree with 4-6 years' experience in Internal or External Audit within a complex environment
  • Big 4 Firm or Chartered experience beneficial
  • Experience working in a fast paced, changing and agile environment is highly advantageous
  • Experience gained in the WM / Super / Retail Banking / Credit / IB or Insurance sectors OR a complex Commercial or Chartered group required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
