The Role:

We are working with a fast-growing, well-backed Tech company that is hiring a GC/Chief Legal Officer to lead its legal function. Reporting to the CEO, this is a key strategic role where you will lead the legal function supporting the company’s continued growth across its regional and global operations.

As the General Counsel, you will be the Chief legal advisor and strategic business partner to the leadership team. You will oversee all legal affairs across the organization, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, intellectual property, and risk management. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role suited for a seasoned legal leader who can balance commercial goals with sound legal judgment and help steer the company through its next phase of global growth.

Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 25 years PQE, ideally with both top-tier law firm and significant in-house experience in SaaS/Technology
  • Experience managing teams
  • Strong command of contract law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and technology related legal matters
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to align legal advice to business goals
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
