Take the lead in managing a dynamic FX trading portfolio at an International Bank, where you’ll have the autonomy to shape your success.

As a key figure in the region's FX business, you'll harness your market insights and intelligence to craft impactful trading strategies. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you'll drive competitive pricing and spearhead business expansion efforts.

Your leadership responsibilities will extend to supervising and mentoring junior traders and regional staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the market. Beyond trading, you’ll play an integral part in regulatory updates, operational enhancements, and fostering cross-department collaboration to propel continuous improvement across the organization.

What we are looking for: 

Proven Expertise: A Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in FX trading within a bank or financial institution.
Trading Execution: Execute FX trades across major and emerging market currencies, managing risk and optimising returns in line with the firm’s strategic objectives.
P&L Management: Take full ownership of the trading desk's P&L, ensuring profitability through effective risk management, market analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Market Making Mastery: Extensive experience in the FX Forward market.
Broad Market Knowledge: A solid understanding of the financial markets, along with basic knowledge of financial regulations on FX and derivatives, including Basel III, ISDA, XVA, and the Global Code of Conduct.
Leadership and Collaboration: High motivation, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to communicate and interact confidently at all levels of the organisation.
