Due to growth in the business they have a newly created position for a Finance Business Partner in their commercial finance team.  Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering this will be a broad and commercial role focusing on the following:
  • Provide management and business unit stakeholders with appropriate financial  analysis via relevant system functionality (finance dashboards) to monitor and measure business unit performance.
  • Routinely communicate business unit financial results and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics and analysis. Identify and track risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Provide insightful commentary from financial analysis to identify financial result implications, key actions, and strategic outcomes.
  • Partner with project office on all financial related project documentation including cost estimate validations, benefit identification and business cases.
  • Preparation of business unit annual budgets and forecasts to be consolidated into group plans.
  • Continually improve systems, processes and procedures to effectively support the business unit operations and meet evolving business needs around financial analysis and insights.
  • Prepare financial models to support commercial business decisions and analysis.

This is a great opportunity for a senior financial analyst or finance business partner with strong financial modelling skills and outstanding stakeholder management skills to join a leading employer. Insurance or Financial Services experience would be advantageous.
