  • Candidate must have sustainability / ESG experience


Responsibilities:

  • Lead ESG initiatives for the whole division to achieve ESG goals and sustainable growths
  • Liaise with Group HQ to ensure that divisional initiatives are aligned with group directions and complies with the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Continuously monitor performance against divisional and group ESG goals
  • Benchmark ESG performance against peers, and against industry trends and best practices on a regular basis
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, opportunities, and trends that may create impact from an ESG and corporate responsibility perspective
  • Develop, maintain, and execute regular cadence of ESG reporting, both internal and external
  • Coordinate, plan and execute ESG projects at division level
 

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (areas like public policy, environmental science & environmental law are preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability and ESG related areas including corporate environment
  • Working experience in a Japanese organization and manufacturing industry is an advantage
  • Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of ESG framework, standards, and trends
  • Strong project management skills
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Act as a team player and partner within the organization as well as the rest of the division and company
  • Travel to other countries for customer and internal meetings, primarily within Asia
