An exciting opportunity within a reputable bank to develop strategic financing and M&A projects for clients within the Energy sector across Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility to lead engagement with clients on M&A, Financing and Capital Markets within the upstream O&G market.

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for contributing and providing industry expertise on strategic Corporate Finance and Capital Market deals
·       Develop strategic financing & M&A projects; take the lead on pitch-book materials and presentations
·       Work closely with Relationship Managers and Product Partners to drive revenue and returns growth
·       Lead engagement with clients - engagement letter, term sheet negotiations
·       Advisory on company's services including M&A Advisory, LBO Advisory, private equity placements, acquisition financing
·       Develop new relationships and maintain existing client relationships

Ideal Candidate

·       Degree or post graduate qualifications
·       Minimum 7 years of M&A experience strongly preferred with in depth understanding of Financing products
·       Strong understanding and interested in the O&G sector
·       Strong financial analysis, client facing roles, deal negotiation and structuring
·       Strong problem solving skills and effective communication and presentation skills
·       Team player with ability to work across sector and product teams
·       Prior experience in Structured Debt, M&A, Capital Markets, Financial Markets or Structured Trade transactions
·       Open to traveling (post-pandemic) up to 50%
