An opportunity has come up with one of our FMCG client based in Singapore. We are looking for a candidate who has strong leadership ability to lead the internal control function across the APAC region.
 
The ideal candidate would have previous experience within a similar role coming in as a Manager or Director level. The candidate will come from a public accounting background (big 4 preferred) along with previous consumer goods experience (preferred) or related field. In order to succeed in the role, the candidate must have a good command of English and report writing skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, drive for client service excellence, strong ability to lead a team of like-minded professionals. The candidate will be strong business partnering skills, have good knowledge of internal controls principles. Lastly, accreditation of CIA/CA/ACCA is preferred.
 

Some responsibilities are listed below but not limited to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain Chart of Authority
  • Provide recommendations on best practices on COA
  • Lead the Internal Control agenda for business units based on the company’s internal audit governance
  • Effectively communicating with various functions to maintain strong governance system
  • Collaborating with legal, Controller and other teams to drive initiatives on governance processes and systems
