The Company:

Our client, a fast-growing global insurance firm is seeking a skilled Manager level candidate with experience in Digital Product Development.  This role will be based in Hong Kong.  


Responsibilities:

  • Develop Product roadmaps from an MVP stage to a fully developed product stage that deliver sustainable incremental business value
  • Develop business cases, execution plans, go-to-market plans for the products and oversee the operations
  • Work closely with project sponsors and workstream leaders to develop strategic objectives into clear and documented product/project goals, objectives scope, roles, and responsibilities
  • Gather business requirements and translate these into clearly documented technical requirements which can be easily understood by stakeholders. Refine requirements and manage product backlog as business priorities demand
  • Manage project work plans, budget, communication, timeline, and delivery

 
Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • 10+ years relevant work experience as a product owner with a proven track record of successful product management in a large financial market such as Hong Kong
  • Experience in working on information technology implementations and transformation projects
  • Ability to understand complex business problems, identify and interpret business needs and define product features
  • Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
