The Organisation:

You will join the Risk Management function (Line 2) in a role that will allow you to develop a long-term career in Investment Banking & Capital Management. Joining the team as a Credit Risk Manager, your role will be focusing on corporate lending, asset finance and equity investment transactions.


Responsibilities:
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a team of Senior Credit Risk Managers, Associate Directors and business stakeholders to structure and approve transactions.
  • Perform independent, detailed analysis on the complex structure with the team, present findings to senior managers and directors for approval (including Head of Credit & Head of Risk), make an assessment on the investment viability.
  • Be accountable for the Financial Due Diligence of transactions and monitoring of emerging trends and risks across the market and portfolio.
  • Constantly advise stakeholders on the optimal lending structure to maximise return for the group and minimise credit risks.
  • Assist with documentation, research and process improvement.
  • Provide guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts in the team.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of previous experience and skills in corporate finance analysis, cash-flow lending, transaction advisory or similar.
  • Solid ability to understand and analyse risk, interpret financial statements and navigate commercial outcomes.
  • Driven and curious, have a growth mindset with a desire to learn.
  • Have a high level of resilience and assertiveness, especially when defending your view.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure across multiple large transactions.
  • Qualifications such as CA/CPA, FRM, CFA and Legal – desirable but not essential.
