  • Singapore based, permanent headcount   
  • Years of relevant exp: 2-5 in debt teams, corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, restructuring, big 4 deal teams
 

Responsibilities would include:

  • Support the management of existing and future banking relationships, preparation of bank and financing materials including credit assessments, financials analysis and structuring proposals.
  • Debt sourcing, financial structuring for each investment deal, loan covenant monitoring and reporting
  • Support the execution of financing transactions, loan documentation and supporting loan administration.
  • Perform key treasury activities such as cash management, FX, bank account administration, credit risk management, hedging strategy and execution in accordance with company policies
  • Monitoring key developments in the banking and leasing markets and support the strengthening of strategic relationships.
  • Review and evaluate various financing solutions and structures for projects, including analysis and recommendation of the appropriate strategy to raise new debt/refinance
  • Liaising with banks, present and negotiate terms, understand financial returns
  • Involvement with cash flow projections, credit analysis, project memorandums, market research etc
  • Track and monitor loan portfolio, including interest costs, loan covenants and reviewing cashflow needs
  • Summary of job scope: 50% treasury support, 25% support managing banking relationship, 25% support finance function
 

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Years of relevant experience: 2-5 in financial services (e.g. client / sector coverage, debt financing, lending, corporate finance) or with a Big 4/ advisory firm or within the treasury/corporate finance team of a corporate
  • Good to have but not mandatory: Sector exposure in maritime / transport / infrastructure or related sectors
  • Good understanding of credit, numbers, financial, and cash flow analysis, financial statements
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Good presentation, excel and powerpoint skills
  • Hands-on, high exposure, able to work in lean teams/ family culture with high visibility to C-level stakeholders and HQ
