  • Ideal preference for candidates directly in related sector M&A, Corporate development, Investment banking, buyside, management consulting or private equity
  • Open for 7 to 10 yrs experience, salary range SGD150-200k base + VB on top

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Group CFO based in Singapore
  • Lead and execute corporate development projects – JVs, Investments, M&A, Acquisitions, divestitures, strategy development, new business development at the corporate and business unit level, across the region and US
  • Dual mission to identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies and to develop future leaders
  • Work along the senior management, C-suite and head of team to contribute to and lead high-performing project teams.
  • Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions; present financial analysis to key stakeholders, C-level
  • Hone advanced financial knowledge and general management skills, develop network internally and externally with various stakeholders
  • Prepare regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports

Job requirements: 
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in any discipline
  • High preference: Candidates who have touched FMCG, Food, Retail, Consumer sectors before. Open to generalists
  • Modelling and deal experience needed, ideally candidates already in private equity, investment banking, M&A corporate finance advisory firms, or in-house corporate firms
  • Experience in managing a transaction process and leading a transaction team, including playing an integral part during the due diligence process
  • Ability to lead financial modelling efforts, including providing guidance to junior team members and taking ownership of model inputs and outputs
  • Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office products with an ability to succinctly summarize information for consumption by senior stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and work collaboratively in a team environment, including providing support and guidance to junior team members
