  • Ideal preference for candidates directly in related sector M&A, Corporate development, Investment banking, buyside, or private equity

Responsibilities:
  • Report to Group Head based in Singapore, and you’ll be part of the senior management team
  • Lead, identify and execute corporate development projects – JVs, Investments, M&A, Acquisitions, divestitures, strategy development, new business development at the corporate and business unit level, across the region
  • Identify strategic partners for the firm, and funding opportunities. Building relationships with and for the shareholders
  • Recommending strategic decisions which have long term financial impact for the firm, initiating financing solutions for the company
  • Technical skills are a given; Mergers & Acquisitions, valuation, due diligence, corporate funding / financing, corporate restructuring
  • Dual mission to identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies and to develop future leaders
  • Work along the senior management, C-suite, and lead/ develop high-performing project teams.
  • Prepare regular sector research to keep abreast of updated trends and market news, including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports
Job requirements: 
  • Bachelors/ Masters Degree in any discipline
  • Advantageous point: Candidates who have covered or done related sectors before eg. Resources, Industrials, Construction, Manufacturing, Energy ENR, Oil & Gas (Open to generalists)
  • Mandatory point: Decent verbal/ business level communication skills in BOTH English and Mandarin (as there may be occasional need to liaise with Chinese clients)
  • 15-20 years of experience
  • Modelling and deal experience needed, ideally candidates already in private equity, investment banking, M&A corporate finance advisory firms, or in-house corporate firms
  • Experience in managing a transaction process and leading a transaction team
  • Good general management skills, high EQ to develop network internally and externally with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and work collaboratively in a team environment, including providing support and guidance to junior team members
