Our Client is a global Investment and Real Estate firm, seeking a Compliance Manager based in Japan to support the Head of Compliance in enhancing the Compliance, Internal control and Governance framework, complying with Japan FIEA and applicable Japanese laws and regulations
You will be reporting directly to the Japan Head of Compliance, as well as working closely with the Japan-based representative Directors. Experience with regulatory advisory and reporting, as well as implementation of AML policies will be advantageous.
 

You will:
  • Have at least 5+ years of relevant working experience within the asset or investment management space, with strong regulatory compliance knowledge
  • Have experience working directly with regulators such as the FSA, KFB, JIAA, and T2fifa .
  • Be familiar with regulations pertaining to DIM & Type II businesses, and Japan FIEA laws
  • Be highly independent, proactive and have excellent communication skills. International exposure will be an added advantage.
