The Role:

The client is a listed pharmaceutical company with strong branding among the world. Currently the client is looking for CFO for its subsidiary CDMO company in France. With several plants across Europe, business performance of this CDMO company is very promising. This CFO needs to be based in Paris, and report to both GM and group CFO. The ideal candidate should be able to speak fluent English, French and Mandarin.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with corporate team and French team to support business from finance perspective
  • Responsible for accounting and financial reporting of French entity and ensuring monthly/ quarterly reporting pack is sent to Corporate within scheduled time
  • To ensure smooth conduct of audit process- both local and Group auditors
  • Responsible for tax planning, transfer pricing and overall tax compliance
  • Responsible for designing and maintaining internal controls at the local entity as necessary · Coordinate with Internal Auditors to ensure smooth audit
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing cash flow at the French entity
  • Work closely with local business and Corporate treasury team to ensure timely and accurate fund flow forecasting and planning
  • Responsible for financial operations
  • Deep and active interaction and coordination with Corporate finance team to ensure transparent and timely exchange of information on business and financial operations


Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA from top institution
  • 20+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience of working in France, good understanding on China business market could be a big plus.
  • Can speak, read and write French language, also fluent in English and Mandarin for internal & external communications and engagement
