  • Opportunity for a Finance professional to be exposed to Project Management
A well-performing insurer is seeking an Accounting Policy & Project Manager to join them. The role will sit with Group Finance & Accounting and you will be specifically looking at contributing to the IFRS 17 Project.

The role will be the bridge between Finance and IT, and you will work together with various stakeholders to design and build the new insurance financing systems. You will review Group Accounting policies and ensure that policies are updated on a regular basis in line with regulations. As Finance Project Manager, you will support the finance team in new project implementations, system upgrades and reviewing of accounting systems.

The ideal candidate would come with at least 5-6 years of experience in accounting for insurance companies and possesses strong working knowledge of IFRS 17 which will be the initial focus of the role. Candidates coming from the Big 4 firms with strong Insurance clientele experience would be considered too. Strong communication skills would be a pre-requisite due to the need to liaise with key stakeholders in this role.
