Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer, this role will play a key part in managing portfolio performance, supporting investment strategy and working with both internal and external asset managers. The position offers exposure across multiple asset classes and a high level of interaction with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Management and oversight of a large institutional investment portfolio across multiple asset classes
- Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation and liquidity positioning
- Contribute to investment strategy development aligned with risk and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with internal and external asset managers on mandate oversight, performance monitoring and strategy assessment
- Monitor macroeconomic and market developments and assess implications for portfolio positioning
- Contribute to strategic and tactical asset allocation discussions
- Lead investment related projects including onboarding new managers, mandates or funds
- Support ESG and sustainable investment initiatives
- Prepare investment reporting and analysis for senior leadership and governance committees
- Experience working within institutional investment environments such as asset management, insurance, superannuation or investment consulting
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and portfolio construction principles
- Experience analysing portfolio performance, asset allocation and investment risk
- Understanding of investment frameworks within regulated financial services environments
- Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics or a related discipline are expected. Professional investment credentials such as CFA would be highly regarded.
