Responsibilities would include:
- Lead deal sourcing and execution of live ECM and M&A transactions, including IPOs, private placements, rights issues, take‑privates, and fundraising exercises
- Present insights from market research, analysis, and due diligence to senior leaders and clients
- Oversee financial modelling, valuation work, and the development of key transaction documentation for internal and external processes
- Act as the primary relationship lead for clients, proactively identify opportunities and generate transaction ideas
- Driving outreach efforts, shape business strategy and expand the overall Investment Banking franchise
- Manage project workflows by coordinating cross‑functional teams and external parties to ensure timely and high‑quality deal delivery
- Provide leadership across the team, including mentoring analysts and interns, and collaborating effectively with senior management and global counterparts
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within Investment Banking or Corporate Finance, M&A ECM IPO
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively
- High level of integrity, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently, leveraging past transaction experience to contribute immediately
