Responsibilities would include:
- Support and drive the origination, evaluation, and execution of private equity and private credit investment opportunities within Southeast Asia
- Build and maintain deal flow through various channels and networks, including corporates, intermediaries, banks, and internal stakeholders
- Participate in client discussions and manage ongoing investor and counterparty relationships
- Manage investments end-to-end, from origination and term negotiation through analysis and underwriting, investment committee approval, execution, post-deal monitoring, and exit
- Prepare investment memos and develop detailed financial models to support investment decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in evaluating investment opportunities across different industries
- Strong track record in private equity and/or private credit investing in Southeast Asia
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to run a deal end-to-end from negotiating terms, putting together investment memos, etc.
- Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
