The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Employment Lawyer to be part of the Group Human Resources team. This is a unique role seeking a legally trained professional to partner with business stakeholders and HR BPs to develop and implement practices that promote positive employee relations, ensuring fairness and inclusivity in the company's decisions. Your key responsibilities include handling complex employment matters, leading investigations into employee relations issues, updating policies to comply with regulations, and governing the company’s grievance and disciplinary processes. Additionally, the role supports compliance programs, collaborates with the legal team on employment litigation, and proactively addresses thematic employee issues through solutions like training.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment policies, fair consideration framework practices, and employment law/regulations (legal background in employment laws preferred)
  • Experience developing and implementing projects or initiatives across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience coaching, consulting, and advising employees, HR, and business stakeholders
  • Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
