  • Lead execution of project finance transactions across New Energies, Infrastructure or Renewables
  • Preference for current or prior banking experience

Responsibilities would include: 
  • Preparing credit applications, leading documentation and ensuring all internal processes are complied with to facilitate financial close.
  • Lead execution of debt facilities: Including drafting and review of term sheets, reviewing project contracts and due diligence reports, undertaking risk and financial analysis entailing running sensitivities and scenarios in financial model.
  • Maintain client relationships in line with the agreed sector and market strategy / risk appetite of the department with the view to originating project / acquisition finance opportunities 
  • Solid technical/ financial analysis capabilities to build/ review detailed financial models for deal screening, structuring and execution, including bespoke scenario analysis and running internal tools and models
  • Support MD in preparation, execution of new strategies and initiatives
  • Participate in portfolio reviews as required
  • Keeping in the loop of all market knowledge and industry developments, clients and targets in order to understand the business of the bank's clients and transition developments.
  • Lead discussions with external stakeholders including client senior management, law firm partners, 3rd party consultants/advisors and industry experts

Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 6-8 years of relevant working experience in project finance (across any sectors or generalists)
  • Must be technically strong to hit ground running
  • Good technical skills, i.e modelling etc. Prior experience in executing project/asset finance deals, including negotiating transaction documents.
  • Experienced in loan credit preparation and processes
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver under time pressure
  • Team player, good interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
