The Role:

My client is a SGX listed firm with a large market capitalization. They are in growth mode in the region across multiple business lines. Reporting to the Global General Counsel, they are recruiting for a senior counsel with strong SGX Regulatory/Capital markets knowledge. This is a newly created role and an excellent opportunity for a capital markets lawyer in private practice to transit into an in-house role or senior lawyers from other SGX ListCos.


Requirements:

  • Singapore or Common Law Qualified, with a minimum of 15 PQE
  • Strong experience in SGX Capital markets regulatory, familiarity with Privy lists, SGX Announcements
  • Wide breadth of commercial experience handling and negotiating commercial services agreements and general corporate matters
  • Must demonstrate independence, initiative, and strong analytical skills while being a team player with a positive attitude.
