Senior Accountant (based in Tokyo)

This role is based in Tokyo, whereby the Senior Accountant will be managing the daily accounting operations in the Tokyo office (GL/AP/AR and treasury). You will oversee the monitoring of operating expenses, as well as the preparation of monthly management reports. You will be the main point of contact for auditors and tax agents, as well as the preparation of tax declarations and statutory reports. You will be involved in some HR admin duties like payroll and the HRIS system.
 
The qualified individual will have a minimum degree in Accounting and Finance, with at least 6 years of accounting experience. As you are required to converse to the local audit and tax agents in Japanese, native Japanese are required, as well as strong stakeholder management and projects experience.
