Job Description:
  • Lead the delivery of projects and dealing with high profiles clients.
  • Hold a role of Project Delivery Executive to oversee end to end project delivery life cycle.
  • Ensure the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use.
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, where you will be responsible for the successful execution of one or more projects at a time, by providing guidance, coaching, and project leadership
  • Be responsible for keeping the project team to work on the highest priority tasks, removing risks and impediments, maintaining on track financials and leading the communication with stakeholders
  • Establishing an environment where the team can be effective
  • Addressing team dynamics
  • Tracking and following up on agreements inside and outside of the team
  • Ensuring a good relationship between the team and the product owner as well as others outside the team
  • Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions
  • Work with the Product Owner(s) to develop the User Stories and manage the Product- and Sprint backlog.
 

Requirements:
  • Technical proficiency including systems development experience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and issue management in a multi-platform environment
  • Experience with cloud-native applications and serverless design is an advantage
  • Demonstrated skills in communication (oral, written, presentation), analysis, problem solving and short term and long-term planning
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, Design Thinking, or any scaled agile framework is a plus.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, Agile
  • Experience and ability to use different planning and prioritization techniques to assist and guide the Product Owner. Comfortable defining MVP, Release Planning, Sprint Planning.
  • Scrum Master certification by Scrum Alliance or equivalent (CSM, PSM I), (CSP, PSM II) is a plus
  • At least three (3) years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for Agile Software development teams that were diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Experience in defence or public sector projects is desirable
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), ACP or SCRUM certification with real-world experience, additional certifications is desirable
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in leading project teams
