We are looking for an Operations Analyst/Fund Accountant with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join a local-based hedge fund. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are keen to learn a broad scope of operations duties in a hedge fund setup, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable and excited to be part of a small and growing shop.
 
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage trade life cycle and core operational workflows 
  • Daily trade processing and daily trade reconciliation.
  • Resolve daily trade issues and monitor corporate actions.
  • Produce and generate internal NAV estimates on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Involve in month-end NAV production process with fund administrator for fund and separately managed account entities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, automation and workflow enhancements.
  • Work closely together with the Operations Manager to ensure timely and accurately core operational support to the trading desk.
 
 
Successful candidate’s background:

  • Degree in Accounting/Banking/Economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of investment operations or fund accounting experience, ideally from a hedge fund or asset management or fund administrator setup.
  • Ideally you come with product knowledge in listed equities, futures and FX forwards.
  • Proficient in Excel and VBA and advantageous if you come with Portfolio Management Systems (PMS) (Enfusion, Eze Castle, Bloomberg AIMs etc.)    
  • Open minded with an earnest attitude to learn, you need to be comfortable being part of a small and growing firm.
  • Good communication skills as required to liaise with various stakeholders.
