My client is a household Australian banking and financial services brand offering a range of specialised Retail, Business and Wealth Management products to a large and diverse Australian customer base.

A highly visible FP&A Manager role has been created that will suit a high performing energetic and commercially minded finance professional. Working as part of a broader Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will provide financial leadership to the business through understanding and interpretation of financial results and business trends. The role in particular will work closely with senior level stakeholders delivering in depth performance reporting & analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Key deliverables will include:
  • Support the delivery of financial outcomes including monthly results and forecast;
  • Support business units heads to understand their financial performance;
  • Presenting and engaging in discussion with key stakeholders around key financial information;
  • Prepare management reporting and take ownership for compilation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts;
  • Create and adapt financial models to support pricing, tenders and product profitability analysis;
  • Change and continuous improvement to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities across the team and to support the business;
With a proven track record in building relationships and extensive networks both internally and externally, you will demonstrate strong business acumen; be able to understand the business and execute business plans to maximise performance.

You are CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years experience and direct experience working in a similar finance business partner or FP&A role.  Industry background is important and ideally you will have a track record working in the financial services sector (Wealth Management or Asset Management highly regarded).  Your track record of operating as a proven finance business partner will allow you to effectively influence, negotiate and manage expectations at all levels of the business.
