Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a leading Media business based in Sydney. This market leader is at the forefront of the sector and offers an opportunity to join a fast paced innovative team.



The role will support the business across all financial reporting and analysis requirements.



Duties

• Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast

• Prepare internal management financial packs and meeting decks.

• Provide ad hoc analysis on profitability and commercial viability of new business opportunities

• Responsible for financial reporting, including; monthly accounts, internal reporting, month end journals and reconciliations.

• Assist internal and external audit process.

• Assist in training/mentoring of new staff.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA)

• Strong technical accounting experience and commercial acumen

• Proven track record of building relationships across a diverse stakeholder group

• Confident at challenging the status quo and both influencing and challenging decisions

• Advanced Excel skills
