The Company:
A Hong Kong conglomerate is actively seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join their Legal and Compliance division, which comprises approximately ten members. This position will involve supervising a junior legal assistant to provide support for the Company’s projects and facilitate its strategic expansion across the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
In your new role, you will
- Provide legal support on disputes, commercial contracts, and real estate transactions
- Contribute to litigation efforts by taking statements and conducting investigations
- Manage legal proceedings by preparing for and attending hearings, facilitating negotiations, and drafting necessary court documents
- Conduct legal research to support and enhance various business initiatives and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related disciplines
- Min. 5 years of experience in dispute resolutions gained in private practice or in-house
- Strong attention to detail, and a good team player
- Fluent in both English and Chinese for internal & external communications and engagement
