The Role:
Our client, a leading MNC is recruiting a Legal Counsel to join its regional team in Singapore. In this role, you will provide legal advice on commercial transactions, draft and negotiate agreements and support compliance efforts. You will also coordinate with cross-border legal specialists, manage credit risk and insurance matters.
 
Requirements:
  • A qualified lawyer with at least 10–12 years of post-qualification experience, trained as shipping lawyer; knowledge of bunkering agreements, marine fuels agreements or LNG is a strong advantage
  • A commercially-minded lawyer who’s confident handling complex negotiations and high-value transactions.
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder manager, able to build trust across all levels of the business.
