The Role

This is an exciting new role for a lawyer looking to transit inhouse with a banking/finance focus. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will support the business and product teams to build the Digital Bank and its customer value propositions.
 
You will focus on the Digital Bank’s retail banking products and provide general legal support across full range of legal matters and advise senior management and business, functional and operational teams at all levels of the Digital Bank. This would include providing legal advice, drafting and transactional support to the business in Singapore with a focus on retail banking, insurance and other products.
 
Requirements:
  • Have an LLB (Honours) degree from a well-known university; Admission to the Singapore Bar (4-6 PQE)
  • Prior banking/finance experience
  • Experience in Digital or Technology legal a plus
  • Comfortable with difficult and new laws, regulations and practices, always with a can-do, solutions driven attitude  
  • Experience in and understanding retail products and regulations
  • Can-do spirit and ability to thrive in start up environments
