The Company:
A leading multinational corporation that offers innovative environmental solutions globally, is seeking a mid-level construction lawyer to join their regional legal division. This role will be based in Hong Kong and support the Company’s strategic expansion, as well as the growing volume and complexity of their infrastructure development in Asia.
 
Responsibilities:

In your new role, you will
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice and solutions for construction projects throughout Southeast Asia,
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, tender proposals, transaction documents, etc.
  • Manage project disputes; oversee the litigation and arbitration process with the assistance of external counsels
  • Advise on corporate matters, including the development and implementation of company policies
  • Conduct legal research to keep abreast of any regulatory changes

Requirements:
  • Admitted as Solicitor in Hong Kong or other major common law jurisdictions
  • 3-6 PQE with solid construction projecst and litigation experience in private practice or multinational business
  • Good knowledge of industry related contracts and legal procedures in Hong Kong and/or Southeast Asia
  • Fluent in both English and Cantonese for internal & external communications and engagement
