We are working exclusively with a Private Bank on their key expansion across both their Investment Counsellor and Relationship Management teams based in Thailand.

We are specifically looking for talent with international experience that can relocate to Bangkok and advise UHNW clientele.

The Investment Advisor will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) and clients to communicate research and investment strategies and provide advice on investment recommendations. The Investment Advisor also assists in answering daily requests from RMs and prepares e-mail recommendations and investment pitches for RMs and clients.

kEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
  • Identify investment ideas and strategies according to each client’s investment preferences and risk profile within the context of company’s research and investment product/solutions universe.
  • Provide, update and disseminate market views on a regular basis by identifying opportunities across different asset classes with sound rationale including fundamental/technical and any other qualitative analyses.
  • Scope includes partnering with RMs to assist with client acquisition.
  • Client portfolio implementation proposals, performance reviews and attend client meetings with RMs when necessary.
  • Shared P&L responsibility with RMs on assigned client relationships.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in IA or private banking business
  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of financial products and industry landscape.
  • Speaks Markets like it is a language
  • Good investment knowledge with sound understanding of global investment industry, markets and products.
