The Role:

Our client is a market leader in its space. It is at the forefront of developing Digital Infrastructure assets and delivering essential infrastructure solutions to some of the world’s largest hyperscale and enterprise tech clients. A newly created role, they are growing the team by hiring an APAC Legal Counsel. This role supports complex commercial leasing transactions and general corporate actions.
 
You will be part of a seasoned team of lawyers. In this role, you will be involved in drafting, negotiating, and advising on colocation agreements, data centre leasing, and other high-value commercial contracts. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, partnering with finance, operations, and business development teams to support strategic growth initiatives. Your legal advice will be instrumental in managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and structuring deals that support the company’s ambitious commercial objectives.
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of PQE from a law firm, in-house legal team, or a combination of both.
  • Solid grounding in commercial contracts—experience in colocation, leasing, or data centres is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital infrastructure, technology, or real estate sectors is a plus.
  • A commercially minded lawyer who’s confident handling complex negotiations and high-value transactions.
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder manager, able to build trust across all levels of the business.
