The Role
 
My Client is a global Private Equity Firm and we are looking for a Regional Head of Compliance to lead the Asia Compliance team. We are looking for a proven Compliance leader in the industry to oversee and elevate the Compliance team for the business at a Group level. This is a global firm and we are looking for someone who is able to influence and partner with C levels within the business.   


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and spearhead the Compliance policies and processes across APAC.
  • Work with the regional team to direct and built new Compliance policies and systems across the countries
  • Provide Compliance and Business Advisory to global stakeholders
  • Ensure that any new processes are in line with local regulators
  • Work with the global Compliance team and elevate the Compliance standards for the Asia business.
  • Design Compliance training program and be the point of contact for any Compliance related issues in Asia.  
 

Requirements:
  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • At least 10 years of experience in a Compliance function – within Asset Management / Private Equity is a must.
  • Proven leadership and regional experience over the years
  • Ability to influence and partner with global stakeholders
  • Be able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
