The Opportunity
As an FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for producing high-quality management reporting, analysing financial performance, supporting planning processes and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
You will develop a deep understanding of the commercial drivers of the business while partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders across operational and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including commentary and analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Produce weekly operational and utilisation reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyse financial results and performance trends, identifying key drivers and variances.
- Support expense reporting and budgeting activities across business support functions.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Maintain and reconcile revenue, expense and KPI budgets within financial systems.
- Support performance reporting and financial management activities for key stakeholders.
- Assist with pricing analysis and ad hoc commercial modelling.
- Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership discussions.
- Support audit requirements and respond to financial information requests.
- Contribute to reporting enhancements, dashboard development and process improvement initiatives.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical capabilities and a genuine interest in commercial finance.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion) will be highly regarded.
- Experience in Financial or Management Accounting within a professional services environment will be viewed favourably, but is not essential.
- First mover from a Big 4 or 2nd-tier CA firm (external audit or business services).
- A strong technical accounting foundation and solid commercial awareness.
- Experience within financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting (highly regarded)
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large and complex data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
