An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join a high-performing finance team within a leading global professional services organisation.  Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this hands-on role will play a key part in delivering accurate, insightful and timely financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting support across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making and business performance.  This position offers excellent exposure to senior leadership, strong career development opportunities and the chance to build your FP&A capability within a complex and dynamic environment.

The Opportunity

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for producing high-quality management reporting, analysing financial performance, supporting planning processes and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
You will develop a deep understanding of the commercial drivers of the business while partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders across operational and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including commentary and analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Produce weekly operational and utilisation reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Analyse financial results and performance trends, identifying key drivers and variances.
  • Support expense reporting and budgeting activities across business support functions.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile revenue, expense and KPI budgets within financial systems.
  • Support performance reporting and financial management activities for key stakeholders.
  • Assist with pricing analysis and ad hoc commercial modelling.
  • Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership discussions.
  • Support audit requirements and respond to financial information requests.
  • Contribute to reporting enhancements, dashboard development and process improvement initiatives.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical capabilities and a genuine interest in commercial finance.
You will bring:
  • CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion) will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in Financial or Management Accounting within a professional services environment will be viewed favourably, but is not essential.
  • First mover from a Big 4 or 2nd-tier CA firm (external audit or business services).
  • A strong technical accounting foundation and solid commercial awareness.
  • Experience within financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting (highly regarded)
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large and complex data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
