Event Overview
As organisations increasingly adopt AI across recruitment and people management, questions around fairness, accountability and compliance are becoming more urgent.
This closed-door panel discussion will explore the intersection between artificial intelligence and employers’ obligations under Singapore’s Workplace Fairness Act (WFA). The session will focus on how AI is being used across the employment lifecycle, the potential compliance risks that may arise, and the practical steps organisations should take to ensure fair, defensible and compliant decision-making.
Through real-world perspectives from senior legal, HR and business leaders, participants will gain clarity on how the WFA applies in practice, where risks may emerge, and how organisations can prepare for 2026 and beyond.
Key Discussion Themes
- How business leaders balance compliance with speed, performance and hiring needs in an AI-enabled environment
- Where business priorities can clash with regulation — and how organisations are navigating those risks
- High-risk HR and people processes where AI use may trigger Workplace Fairness Act concerns
- What boards and leadership teams are starting to ask about AI, governance and accountability
- Practical steps organisations can take to stay compliant while continuing to grow and innovate
