Due to business expansion, our client (an established Multinational Consumer Goods company) has a new opening for a Senior Communications Specialist, Global reporting to Global Communications Manager based in Singapore.

  • The role is responsible for development of communications assets across all media supporting PR initiatives. Lead the creative kickoff and develop creative briefs that effectively communicate communications objectives. Provide strategic direction to the agency and/or internal creative. Ensure all assets reflect brand standards, positioning, communications objectives and quality standards.
  • Full responsibility for project management of the integrated communications process for PR initiatives including development of project timelines, completion of communications briefs, facilitation of agency briefings, review of creative concepts against brief and established brand standards and obtaining approvals.
  • Manage approvals for all assets ensuring all communications meet legal/regulatory requirements. Work with Legal, if necessary, to do a risk assessment.
  • Manage project budgets working with vendors and agencies to deliver on-time, on-budget, on-brief and meet established objectives and strategies.
  • Lead the evaluation of PR plans pre and post launch and adapt plans to incorporate learning
  • Working cross-functionally to support planning and execution of major events in the region, alongside Sales and Special Events teams
  • Developing messaging and talking points for executives by gathering information from the markets on what is most relevant.
  • Alongside Creative/Production partners, building creative, video and presentation elements to support executive speaking engagements at events
  • Developing social and digital strategies to preview and recap events across online/mobile platforms to drive engagement
 

To be considered for this role:

  • You will hold a degree in Communications, marketing, business, strategic planning, event management.
  • Minimum 5 – 6 years Communications experience in a corporate communications environment
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and confidence to work closely with and provide strategic counsel to executive leaders
  • Journalistic talent to connect an audience with a story, including talent to interview for a storyline
  • Experience developing and managing online content, as well as engagement of audiences through social media management
  • Insight to segment content according to the audience, offering influence for messaging, medium, timing, etc.
  • Ability to create, implement and measure a comprehensive strategy across multiple media
  • Ability to travel up to 20% working with global project teams, bringing insights to action
  • Background in communications, helping leaders craft insights for multiple audiences
  • BS degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related discipline
