  • Multiple roles open: Head of Debt finance/ Private debt + Head Renewable Energy + Head Real Estate Investment Banking coverage (Deal sourcing)
 

Responsibilities would include:
  • Leading origination, structuring and execution efforts across Southeast Asia
  • Good track record of deal sourcing, structuring and execution of alternative investments (including real estate and renewables) and acquisition/leveraged loans from Asia-Pacific region (Australia & New Zealand inclusive).
  • Additional experience in other alternative financing origination (e.g., special situations or structured finance) would be a plus. 
  • Able to prepare credit approval papers and deal with internal credit committees independently
  • Syndication experience a plus as this role is an ‘’underwrite to sell-down” model.
  • Have strong relationships with PE funds/banks in Asia-Pacific that will be a source for strong deal pipeline.
  • Mentoring juniors where necessary
  • Coordinating the preparation of pitchbooks, proposals and presentations
  • Keeping in the loop of all sector trends, market knowledge and industry developments
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Investment Banking/ Private equity background preferred – in the following domains: Private Debt/ Renewable Energy / Real Estate only (Open to industry professionals in corporate too)
  • Able to deal source in the renewable energy/ real estate sectors (equity & debt, selldown)
  • At least 15 years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, leveraged finance or private credit.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Capacity for differentiated thinking and ability to problem solve effectively
  • Entrepreneurial, ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based, and results-oriented environment
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills to deal with various internal and external stakeholders
