Responsibilities would include: 
  • Establish and lead the growth technology sector including technology lending toward Pre/Post IPO corporates as well as Venture Debt toward early to mid-stage ventures.
  • Initiate and maintain active dialogue with clients, venture-capitals, consultants, legal counsels, market intelligence companies in the growth technology sector.
  • Keep track on technology trends, developments and potential opportunities in the market for ideation, pitching and deal origination.
  • Hire, lead and manage the team and establish the bank’s growth technology banking practice in APAC.
  • Deliver sophisticated business plans and credit risk appetite framework as well as deal execution eventually to lead the bank’s market entry and growth in APAC region.
  • Solid technical capabilities - Conduct/ review financial analysis, models, run execution of deals i.e LBO financing, structured financing and corporate M&A financing transactions
  • Manage and conduct due diligence, run internal credit process including preparation or review of internal discussion papers and credit applications, Q&A, etc.
 

Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Good stakeholder management and liaise with different teams, externally and internally
  • Years of relevant experience: 8-12 years
  • Good knowledge and familiar in technology trends/developments in APAC region.
  • Experience in leading pre-IPO financing or Venture Debt execution.
  • Good credit assessment skills
  • Prior work experience in VCs/ Tech start ups would be an advantage
  • Familiar with VC valuations, startup eco-systems
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
