The Role:

My Client is a leading Oil and Energy firm and they are looking for a Trade Surveillance Manager to join the team in Singapore. They are a global name in the Oil Trading space and we are looking for candidates who are keen to scale their career in the leading brand within the Commodities space.
  

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Compliance surveillance framework and policies
  • Work with the Front Office / Traders to identify potential non-compliance with laws and regulations
  • Oversight of all trading platforms to detect any market abuse and misconduct
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Monitor any changes in regulatory developments and ensure the policies are in line with laws and regulations
  • Carry out investigation work should there be any alerts, red flags etc
 

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of Monitoring and Surveillance experience –
  • Candidates with trading / commodities experience preferred
  • Strong Financial Crime experience with good grasp of Transaction Monitoring software
  • Understanding of wider Compliance topics such as AML, Sanctions etc
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
